Select the roses and publications you need, the items will be added to the shopping basket in the right frame and the total amount of your purchases will be displayed. Ordering Roses

(For dispatch or collection). Orders are accepted from November for delivery the following winter. Well packed plants are sent by post from mid May until August. Any "sold out" varities should be re-ordered the following spring if still required; we do not carry orders forward which we have been unable to fill. Please make sure that full name, address and telephone number are included with order.

Winter orders are sent out from mid May until August. During this time plants are hand-lifted and packed immediately - roots are wrapped in a damp medium, bagged in plastic and packed in a strong box for posting. Dispatch takes place on the same day as lifting. Because of the central position of the nursery it is only a matter of little more than a day before customers receive their orders. Instructions for planting and culture are sent with each consignment. If any plant fails to grow a replacement will be sent without charge the following winter.

Acknowledgement of order and supply. Orders will be acknowledged promptly. Supply is dependent on quality and quantity at lifting time.

Payment

Payment is not required in advance or accepted with order.  Settlement on receipt of invoice is requested by cheque or credit card.  Those choosing the pay by credit card option will receive priority allocation and orders will be dispatched by mid/late June.  Please note we will not process your credit card payment until we send the order and also please make sure the card expiry date is current till at least the end of July.  Internet banking is also possible - bank account details will be on your invoice.

Export orders

Regulations concerning the importation of plants vary from one country to another and it is advisable to become acquainted with these before ordering. Many countries do not allow the importation of plants which have been grown in the open ground. At Tasman Bay Roses all plants are field grown. While we welcome orders it may be impossible for us to comply with certain regulations. We are unable to send roses overseas unless every condition is met.

Any request to import must be accompanied by full documentation and this should be made under an official letterhead of the issuing authority of that country. This will enable the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture to activate the issuing of export permits here. A phone call to the nearest department of agriculture will inform you of these conditions.
